My fantastic tutor gave me the confidence I needed to ace the GRE. I met twice a week, and she customized the material so I learned everything I possibly could, along with mastering techniques I'd already known. I always felt like I mattered to her, and that's a big thing when you're being tutored. It's important to feel like your tutor wants to watch you succeed just as much as, if not more than, you do... I need the benefit of one-on-one learning to reap the rewards of test preparation. And believe me, I reaped the rewards all right. My math score rose at least 300 points.
